Are you ready for this YOGA DAY on 21st June?
I’m surprised if notYOGA DAY was started on 21st June 2015 with inception in the United Nations General Assembly in 2014 since then celebrated every year.Why 21st June? coz it is the longest day of the year in Northern Hemisphere have special significance as YOGA mainly starts with SURYA NAMASKAR(GREETING SUN GOD) and this is the day SUN can bless his devotees longer.What is YOGA? It is a spiritual practice from ancient Hindu tradition which date back to Indus Valley Civilization around 3000BCE. Belived, first proponent of YOGA was Adiyogi(first yogi-lord Shiva)WHY YOGA? Lot of physical and mental health benefits, like:
Physical benefits-
>Increase flexibility, strength of the body
>Improves respiration system
>Maintain balanced metabolism
Mental benefits-
>Reduce stress, improves decision making, lower anger and many more
